Routt County Election Information

The November 4, 2014 General Election will be a mail ballot election with expanded voting options available the two weeks prior to the election.  For those voters needing to change their address, obtain a replacement mail ballot or vote in person, a Voter Service and Polling Center will be open in the Courthouse Annex building on 136 - 6th Street in Steamboat Springs from Monday, October 20th through Election Day.  The VSPC will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25th and November 1st, and Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  In addition, there will be a VSPC located in the Hayden Town Hall and Oak Creek Town Hall on Election Day, November 4, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Anyone wishing to register to vote or change voter registration information may do so on-line at www.govotecolorado.com by entering a valid Colorado Driver's License number or in the County Clerk's office at 522 Lincoln Ave. in Steamboat Springs.

Requires one first-class stamp (49 cents)

Ballots for the General Election will be mailed out on October 14, 2014 to all eligible voters.  To check your voter registration information, you may either go to www.govotecolorado.com or call the Elections Office at 970-870-5558 or 1-800-870-5418.
