Greenhouses are allowed on all parcels in Routt County. If it is on a vacant parcel that is less than 1 acre, approval from the Planning Department may be required. A permit for the structure may be required by the Routt County Building Department. If it is to be heated or has plumbing or electricity, building permits for that work will be required. Please get in touch with the Planning or Building Departments if you have additional questions.

Navigate to the parcel you are looking for information on by using the zoom and pan functions or search by parcel identification number (PIN) or by owner’s name. Click on the parcel that you want information on. An information box will pop up. At the bottom of the box the zoning will be shown.
Secondary dwelling units are permitted in certain situations and are subject to specific standards. Please reference the Secondary Dwelling Unit guide for an overview of those standards.
